The athletes who represented Hong Kong at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games will greet the public during a bus parade from Sha Tin to Admiralty on August 21. The parade will begin at 10.15am at the Hong Kong Sports Institute and end at Tamar Park at 11.45am, and will include the athletes, coaches, and other members of the delegation.

Two open-top buses carrying members of the delegation will make their way to Tai Wai Station and the Tsim Sha Tsui Clock Tower, before heading though the Cross Harbour Tunnel to get to Queen’s Road Central and finishing the journey at Tamar Park. During this time, fans can cheer for the athletes at viewing spots like Tai Wai Station, the Tsim Sha Tsui Clock Tower, and the Central Star Ferry Pier.

They will then attend a lunch at Government House hosted by Chief Executive John Lee, followed by a “welcome-home reception” organised by the government and the Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China.

Hong Kong won four medals at the 2024 year’s Olympics. Edgar Cheung bagged gold in men’s foil fencing, Siobhán Haughey took bronze in both the women’s 200m freestyle and 100m freestyle, and Vivian Kong won the SAR’S first women’s fencing gold.
