Tripadvisor has released its Travelers’ Choice Best Destinations for Food 2026, ranking cities around the world based on real traveller reviews collected over a 12-month period.

Hong Kong ranked 4th globally, following London (1st), Dubai (2nd), and Rome (3rd), confirming its position as one of the world’s top destinations for food, known for its street markets, local cuisine, and internationally recognised restaurants.

The list is calculated using the volume, quality, and consistency of dining-related ratings, reflecting where visitors enjoyed the strongest food experiences. From street food capitals to fine dining hubs, the rankings highlight destinations that continue to attract global food lovers.

Here are the Top 20 Best Food Destinations in the World for 2026, according to Tripadvisor:

Separately, Hong Kong will also host the Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants Awards for the first time this March, adding another major food-related event to the city’s calendar and further highlighting its strong international dining profile.
