If you’re travelling abroad and need to stay connected, you may think your only options are to get a local SIM card at the airport or to go to a coffee shop to use the Wi-Fi. However, with the introduction of NordVPN’s new eSIM app Saily, you can get a secure and reliable data connection with an affordable data plan in more than 150 countries.

Setting up Saily is a simple three-step process. All you have to do is choose your data plan, download the app on the App Store or Google Play, and then activate your plan before you set off on your trip. You can choose from 1GB, 3GB, 5GB, and 10GB plans, with validity periods lasting 7–30 days, depending on your destination. Once you get there, you can go online straight away. Before starting the process, remember to check if your smartphone is eSIM-compatible.

Additionally, once you install the Saily eSIM, you can use it to buy different plans in different countries. So you could, for instance, get a long-term plan for an extended trip to Japan, but a shorter one if you have a long layover in Thailand on the way there. And if you run out of data, you can top up your eSIM by choosing the ‘Add data’ option when reviewing your plan.

Saily recently launched its new referral programme by which the referrer and the referred friend will get a US$3 (approximately HK$23) bonus. To start earning this bonus, log into your Saily account, find the referral code under the ‘Credits’ section, and share it with family and friends.
