NOTICE: Coldplay has added an extra date for their Hong Kong concerts and will also perform in the city on April 8, 2025. For more information, check out this article.
Coldplay fans in Hong Kong who didn’t manage to get tickets for the Brit band’s Hong Kong concerts in 2025 may still have a chance to watch them perform live in the city. The band will release Infinity Tickets— randomly assigned and reasonably priced tickets for fans to attend their ongoing Music of the Spheres world tour, including the shows at Kai Tak Stadium on April 9, 11 and 12, 2025.
How to get ‘Infinity Tickets’ for Coldplay?
These tickets will be priced at HK$160, sold in pairs, and seats can be anywhere in the concert venue — from the back row to the mosh pit. Infinity Tickets will be available at 12pm on November 22, 2024 on Cityline. Anyone interested in buying these tickets must provide details like full English names and valid permanent identity card or travel document ready at the time of purchase. Coldplay fans who get their hands on their Infinity Tickets will get their physical tickets on concert day and will only find out what their seat locations are then.
One of the main events in 2025
In October, Coldplay fans went through four rounds of ticket sales from October 7-10 — the Artist Pre-sale, the Klook Experience Package, the Live Nation Members Pre-sale, and the general sale. Tickets sold out within two hours on all days, followed by the Klook tickets-and-hotel bundles. Fans took to social media to express frustration at the ticketing system, and were outraged when tickets emerged on resale platforms like Carousell and Viagogo at inflated prices.
The band’s forthcoming concerts in Hong Kong are highly anticipated since the last time they took the stage in the city was in 2009 as part of their Viva La Vida Tour. Back then, they performed at the AsiaWorld-Arena. This time around, they will be the first international band to play at the yet-to-open 50,000-capacity Kai Tak Stadium, which will also host the 2025 Hong Kong Sevens.
