This café hidden between streets in Sheung Wan does it all: gluten-free, vegan, dairy-free, and even keto cakes. They can make custom-made cakes and cupcakes for weddings and birthdays in all types of styles, from crepe, to chiffon, to log cakes, to good old dense American-style cakes (and even treats for your pups!) from around HK$700 for entire cakes. Whether enjoying a slice with a cup of coffee in-store, or grabbing a whole cake, you have to try their Persian Love Cake with Kirsche macerated sour cherries and Iranian pistachios. La Famille specialises in meticulously done chiffon cakes and bavarois starting from HK$320. The designs are minimalistic and elegant. La Famille uses Japanese ingredients like cream from Hokkaido and Japanese flour, while executing their delicate flavours using French pastry techniques. Pastry chef Tony Wong puts together incredibly unique edible artworks.
