This café hidden between streets in Sheung Wan does it all: gluten-free, vegan, dairy-free, and even keto cakes. They can make custom-made cakes and cupcakes for weddings and birthdays in all types of styles, from crepe, to chiffon, to log cakes, to good old dense American-style cakes (and even treats for your pups!) from around HK$700 for entire cakes. La Famille specialises in meticulously done chiffon cakes and bavarois starting from HK$320. The designs are minimalistic and elegant. Pastry chef Tony Wong puts together incredibly unique edible artworks. I have two words for you: Frou Frou. Perhaps one of best cakes of all time, with its dark chocolate mousse and crispy praline, and no one does it better than Island Shangri-La’s Island Gourmet. They also have a number of other incredible options including a Hokkaido Cheesecake, St Honoré Mocha, and Fraisier, which are definitely worth a try.
