We are all massive foodies here in Hong Kong and with restaurants opening faster than we can keep up, we are also suckers for a good restaurant roundup list. Our latest is the best steaks in town. Buckle up, you’re in for a meaty ride!
La Vache!
It’s tough being at the top hey La Vache? Although it wouldn’t seem they buckle under pressure after consistently serving the best steak in the 852 for the last few years. There are a couple of reasons the steak here is so good; number 1, that’s all they serve – the menu consists of just one dish; steak and fries, so all their energy is going into the finest bits of beef. And number 2 is that special sauce and those perfectly cooked fries that accompany the steak. Oh my, so much goodness on one plate.

Braza
When it comes to steak there’s no denying the Brazilians know their stuff, so this hideout in LKF is every steak lover’s dream serving the good stuff Churrascaria style. This method of serving different cuts of meat originated from the south of Brazil in the early 1800’s and is now taking Hong Kong by storm. The steak is cooked to perfection and the other meat is on-par too. The array of sides at brunch is pretty spectacular and even the barbequed pineapple is something to write home about!

Steak Frites
Butchers Club has been dominating the meat scene in Hong Kong recently, and their restaurant dedicated to steak is a welcome addition to Soho. Since dry-aged beef is the core of all Butchers Club restaurants, the brand prides itself on selecting only the best beef in the world. At Steak Frites, you can select your own cut of beef from one of three different suppliers sourced from the USA and Australia. Their menu also includes roasted bone marrow, seared foie gras, and the ever-popular Nova Scotia lobster tail. Oh, and the duck fat fried fries are out of this world!

FRITES
This European-style bistro boasts a rather impressive selection of beer, yet has started to make waves in the steak stakes (get it?). Their 1885 Black Angus Ribeye served with truffle butter is so damn dreamy it’ll have you dreaming about it for days. Simply served with frites and a small salad, the chunk of beef takes up a majority of the plate, satisfying any hungry meat-lover. With 4 locations around Hong Kong, you’re never far from away from some delicious meat.
