Fortnum & Mason to Open in Hong Kong November 2019
The iconic British retail and hospitality brand will bring a little piece of London to K11 MUSEA this November.
Shop for Classic Fortnum & Mason Products
First founded in London in 1707 when Queen Anne gave her footman William Fortnum permission to sell on her discarded candles, British brand Fortnum & Mason’s flagship store in London’s Picadilly has long been known for its luxurious British food, drink and gifts.
Fortnum & Mason’s new 7,000 sq ft store in K11 MUSEA is scheduled to open in November 2019 and will offer an edited selection of their famous products. They’re well known for their preserves, teas and marmalades as well as their salmon, cheese and caviar. The store will also showcase a curated selection of wines, spirits and Champagnes, including Fortnum & Mason’s Blanc de Blancs Champagne, a 100% Chardonnay cuvée produced exclusively from Grand Cru vineyards in the village of Chouilly. Customers can add their personal messages to Champagne labels from the famed Billecart-Salmon and Hostomme houses.
Dining at Fortnum’s 181
Up a sweeping staircase from the store, you can find Fortnum’s 181, a dining room and bar with fantastic harbour views. Open for lunch, dinner and afternoon tea there will be many classic British favourites on offer, including beef wellington, scotch eggs and Welsh rarebit.
But we’re most excited about the classic afternoon tea which will be served daily, accompanied by a live pianist. The menu will replicate the menu of the Diamond Jubliee Tea Salon in Fortnum’s Piccadilly, famously opened by HRH The Queen and TRH The Duchess of Cornwall and The Duchess of Cambridge in 2012.
